December Information

The month of December is fast and furious in kindergarten! We are testing each child one on one over many topics in Language Arts and Math. Once testing is finished we will have parent conferences to review the data.

For the Christmas party on the 19th we are asking that each child participates in a book exchange. Please buy a STEP INTO READING book. If your child is a boy, please shop for a boy. If your child is a girl, please shop for a girl. Please wrap it and put From, (your child's name). We will put the books under our classroom Christmas tree and exchange them on the 19th. Please make sure the books are here by the 17th. You can find these books at the SCHOOL BOOK FAIR going on the rest of the week, Walmart, and Hastings. Here are some examples of what they look like...

The holiday spirit is in the air! Doors are decorated and trees are lit!

Our class is under elf surveillance! Her name is Violet and reports to Santa each night on how the school day went. Each day she is hiding and watching from a new place in the classroom.

December 4th-12th is the school book fair! Students have made a wish list and can buy books while at school starting on the 5th. Parents can come shop from 7:30-3:30 as well. Come do your Christmas shopping in the school library!

Breakfast with Santa is on Saturday December 6th. See the parent newsletter that came home for details.
