Coming to Kinder Soon?

Parents ask me all the time what to work on before their children get to kindergarten. If your little one is making the move to kinder soon here are some tips to make all day kinder an easier transition...

• Saying first and last name
• Being able to read first and last name
• Write first and last name (this is something we will work on)
• Start working on identifying capital and lowercase letters (this is something we work on)
• Start identifying numbers 0-10 (this is something we work on)
• Identify colors
• Being able to follow directions
• Being able to share
• Being kind to others
• Practice tying shoes
• Being able to dress themselves
• Being able to use the restroom all on their own

By having these mastered it will help us focus on the curriculum and have a productive year.
